BRAIDED WIRE WATER SUPPLY LINE CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS FOR LEAKS, BURST LINES

It has been alleged that several companies used defective and/or low-grade materials in producing their water supply lines and coupling nuts, which are the parts used to connect the lines to the property’s water supply.

As a result, the lines are cracking, bursting or breaking before they should, causing leaks, flooding and property damage. Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are filing lawsuits against these manufacturers and are interested in hearing from anyone who experienced problems with their water supply lines.

Water supply lines are used to supply water to faucets, dishwashers, toilets, ice makers and other household fixtures. They are made from flexible tubing that is either covered with “braided” stainless steel or brass, or non-braided plastic.

Although lawsuits have only been filed against EZ-Flo, Fluidmaster and Watts Water Technologies, attorneys are also looking into the following brands:

Some braided line makers, including DuraPro and BrassCraft Manufacturing Company, have already faced lawsuits from insurance companies who, having paid out insurance money for property damage caused by flooding and leaks, believe the companies are responsible.

In one case, a property suffered $416,000 in damage, allegedly because of defective BrassCraft water supply lines.
